Dear Greenburgh Graham UFSD families, staff and community,
I am honored to address you as your Acting Superintendent during this transitional period and express my heartfelt gratitude for your support. This district boasts a rich history and a wealth of knowledge from veteran educators. I cherish the relationships cultivated with students, faculty, staff, and the community during my tenure as Deputy Superintendent.
Unexpected change brings opportunities for growth, collaboration, and a reaffirmation of our shared commitment to every student's success. The strength of our district lies in the dedication of our educators and staff, parents, and community members. Thank you for your unwavering commitment to every child. I am confident in our collective ability to overcome challenges and thrive.
My commitment is to uphold and expand successful initiatives within our district, particularly the Restorative Practices program and the high academic expectations we set for our students. These pillars will remain central to our educational approach, fostering a positive and supportive learning environment.
Looking ahead, I am eager to collaborate with the entire school community, including our outstanding faculty, staff, administrative team, board of education, and contributing organizations. Together, we will "create pathways" for our students' future, ensuring they thrive academically, emotionally, and socially.
In the spirit of transparency and open communication, I welcome your thoughts, ideas, and concerns as we embark on this journey together. With your support and our collective efforts, I am confident that we will emerge from this period stronger and more resilient than ever.
Thank you for your ongoing dedication to our district. I look forward to the exciting journey ahead.
Warmly,
Dara E. Joseph
